Gebrauchsanleitung bitte sorgfältig durchlesen und aufbewahren! Diese Gebrauchsanleitung beschreibt verschiedene Modelle: - Grundmodell (Bild 6a) nur mit Ein/Aus Schalter, - Modell (Bild 6b) hat einen zusätzlichen Schalter für Tassenwahl, - Modell (Bild 6c) schaltet automatisch nach 2 Stunden ab. Es kann wie die anderen Modelle auch manuell ausgeschaltet werden. Vor dem ersten Gebrauch Zweimal 9 Tassen Wasser durchlaufen lassen, um das Gerät zu reinigen. Eventuell tritt ein unbedenklicher Neugeruch auf. In diesem Fall eine verdünnte Essiglösung durchlaufen lassen (2 Tassen Essig auf 6 Tassen Wasser), anschließend zweimal 9 Tassen Wasser. Kaffee brühen und warm halten Bilder 1 bis 5 Nur reines Wasser in den Tank füllen, keines falls Milch oder fertige Getränke wie Tee oder Kaffee! (Geschmacksveränderung bei nachfolgendem Brühen.) Mittel gemahlenen Kaffee verwenden (wir empfehlen ca. 7 g pro Tasse), bei wenigen Tassen etwas mehr Kaffee pro Tasse nehmen als bei einer größeren Tassenzahl. Mindestens drei große Tassen brühen, sonst hat der Kaffee nicht die gewünschte Temperatur und Stärke. = ca. 125 ml = ca. 85 ml Die Warmhalteplatte bleibt nach dem Ausschalten noch einige Zeit heiß. Der Kaffeeautomat muss 5 min auskühlen, bevor man wieder Wasser einfüllen darf. Auch Tee kann so zubereitet werden. Sicherheitshinweise d Stromschlag Gefahr Gerät nur gemäß Angaben auf dem Typenschild anschließen und betreiben. Nur benutzen, wenn Zuleitung und Gerät keine Beschädigungen aufweisen. Kinder vom Gerät fern halten. Kinder beaufsichtigen, um zu verhindern, dass sie mit dem Gerät spielen. Personen (auch Kinder) mit verminderten körperlichen Sinneswahrnehmung oder geistigen Fähigkeiten oder mit mangelnder Erfahrung und Wissen, das Gerät nicht bedienen lassen, außer sie werden beaufsichtigt oder hatten eine Einweisung bezüglich des Gebrauchs des Gerätes durch eine Person, die für ihre Sicherheit verantwortlich ist. Stecker ziehen nach jedem Gebrauch und im Fehlerfall. Reparaturen am Gerät, wie z. B. eine beschädigte Zuleitung austauschen, dürfen nur durch unseren Kundendienst ausgeführt werden, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden. Schalter für Tassenwahl Bild 6 Durch Schalten auf 3-6 (3-6 Tassen) oder 7-10 (7-10 Tassen) kann die Stärke und damit das Aroma gewählt werden. 2 de Reinigen und Warten Alle Teile, die mit Kaffee in Kontakt kommen, sollten nach jedem Gebrauch gereinigt werden. Rückstände beeinflussen den Geschmack negativ. Alle losen Teile sind spülmaschinenfest, nicht über der Heizung einordnen oder einklemmen (Deformation möglich). Gehäuse außen nur feucht abwischen. Keine Scheuermittel benutzen. Keinen Dampfreiniger benutzen. Gerät niemals in Wasser tauchen! Entsorgung Dieses Gerät ist entsprechend der europäischen Richtlinie 2002/96/EG über Elektro und Elektronikaltgeräte (waste electrical and electronic equipment - WEEE) gekennzeichnet. Die Richtlinie gibt den Rahmen für eine EU weit gültige Rücknahme und Verwertung der Altgeräte vor. Über aktuelle Entsorgungswege können Sie sich beim Fachhändler oder in der Gemeinde verwaltung informieren. Entkalken Gerät regelmäßig entkalken, spätestens wenn - die Brühzeit länger wird, - übermäßiger Dampf entsteht, - das Gerät lauter wird. Entkalkungsmittel nach Hersteller Angaben dosieren, in den Tank füllen. Lösung 5 min stehen lassen, dann einschalten, nach 1 min ausschalten und 10 min stehen lassen. Mindestens dreimal wiederholen (je nach Verkalkung öfter). Restliche Menge durchlaufen lassen. Zweimal je 9 Tassen reines Wasser durchlaufen lassen. Bei den Varianten mit Tassenwahl den Schalter während der Entkalkung auf 3-6 Tassen stellen. Alle losen Teile gründlich spülen. Entkalkungsempfehlung Bei normaler Wasserhärte und täglicher Benutzung alle 6 Wochen entkalken. Werden Entkalkungsmittel auf Essig oder Zitronensäurebasis verwendet, alle 3 Wochen entkalken. Never add milk or ready drinks such as tea or coffee (the taste will be altered by the subsequent brewing process). Use medium ground coffee (we recommend approx. 7 g per cup), add slightly more coffee per cup for a few cups than for a larger number of cups. Brew at least three large cups, otherwise the coffee will not have the required temperature and strength. = approx. 125 ml = approx. 85 ml The cup heater remains hot for a short period after the appliance has been switched off. Allow the coffee maker to cool down for 5 min. before refilling with water. The same process can be used to brew tea. Occasionally, new appliances emit a completely harmless odour. In this case run a diluted vinegar solution through the appliance (2 cups of vinegar to 6 cups of water), then run 9 cups of water twice through the appliance. Before using your appliance for the first time All parts which come into contact with coffee should be cleaned after use. Residue will affect the taste. All detachable parts are dishwasher proof. However, do NOT place them over the dishwasher heater or jam them in the dishwasher (deformation may occur). Wipe the housing exterior with a damp cloth only. Do NOT use any scouring agents. Descaling Descale the appliance regularly, especially if - the brewing cycle takes longer than usual, - excessive steam is produced, - the appliance is noisier than usual. Measure descaling agent according to manufacturer's specifications and pour into the tank. Leave the solution to stand for 5 min., then switch on. Switch off after 1 min. and leave to stand for 10 min. Repeat at least 3x (or more frequently depending on calcification). Allow the residual solution to run through. Flush the appliance twice with 9 cups of clean water. If models feature cup selection, set the switch to 3-6 cups during descaling. Thoroughly rinse all detachable parts. If the water hardness is normal and the appliance is used daily, descale every 6 weeks. If the descaling agents which you use are based on vinegar or citric acid, descale every 3 weeks.
